Piedmont World Partners
Mission & Vision
Piedmont World Partners exists to equip national and cross-cultural church planters through rigorous theology, supervised field circuits, and long obedience in the same direction. We envision congregations led by local elders who preach Christ clearly, baptize believers, and multiply disciples without depending on a perpetual foreign center.
What We Do
We run two-year church-planter residencies that pair classroom study with village and urban planting teams. Residents preach through whole books of Scripture, practice evangelism under mentors, and learn elder care in real congregations. We also coach sending churches on patient partnership so support matches field reality rather than event culture.
Where We Serve
Our primary residencies and partner teams work across East Africa, West African megacities, and select diaspora plantings where gospel-preaching churches are thin. Placement always follows national partners who invite us; we do not invent fields for brochure appeal.
How We Operate
Workers and national mentors share evaluation of each resident. Funding prioritizes training, transport for circuit work, and Scripture access over campus spectacle. Member care includes regular debriefs, marriage check-ins, and honest reporting standards. Governance is a board of pastors and former field workers accountable to partner churches.
Values
Scripture first. Local leadership preferred. Slow formation over quick platforms. Transparent finances. Hospitality as discipleship. We refuse prosperity distortions and refuse to treat national workers as stage props for Western donors.
