Personal Bio
I grew up as a missionary kid on the island of Guam, where missions and cross-cultural ministry became part of my life from an early age. Kristi and I have now spent more than 20 years serving the Lord together through pastoral ministry, Christian education, evangelism, church ministry, and Christian higher education.
After decades of ministry in the United States, God has led us into a new chapter with Biblical Ministries Worldwide. Looking back, we can see how the Lord has used each season of ministry to prepare us for the opportunities He has placed before us today.
Kristi and I are grateful to serve together as we seek to engage, encourage, equip, and empower God's church to declare His glory among the nations.
The Mission
I serve with Biblical Ministries Worldwide as the Executive Vice President for Growth & Engagement and Asia-Pacific Catalyst.
In my Growth & Engagement role, I work alongside BMW's leadership, missionaries, area leaders, and sending and supporting churches to help expand the gospel's footprint around the world. A major part of that work is connecting the burden, people, and resources God has placed in His churches with gospel opportunities around the globe.
As Asia-Pacific Catalyst, I have a particular burden to see healthy local churches planted throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including some of the hardest-to-reach places on earth.
Our desire is simple but enormous: healthy churches everywhere.
The Heart Behind the Mission
I grew up seeing missions firsthand as a missionary kid on Guam. Now, after more than 20 years of pastoral ministry, the Lord has brought much of my life and ministry experience full circle.
At the heart of what Kristi and I are doing is a conviction that God accomplishes His work through healthy local churches. We don't simply want to see activity happening around the world—we want to see people reached with the gospel, disciples made, leaders equipped, and healthy churches established that can continue multiplying the work.
Some of the places we're seeking to reach are among the most difficult places in the world. From a human perspective, the task can seem impossible. But that's exactly why we depend upon God to accomplish what we cannot.
We want to spend this season of our lives helping God's church take the gospel farther and seeing His glory declared among the nations.

We believe missions isn't something missionaries do alone. God uses churches and individual believers who pray, give, encourage, send, and participate in the work.
We would love for you to join us in this journey. Pray with us for open doors for the gospel, for missionaries and national believers serving in difficult places, and for healthy churches to be established and strengthened throughout the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
We are also building a team of ministry partners who will stand with us through prayer and financial support. Your partnership enables us to serve missionaries, strengthen churches, develop gospel opportunities, and help take the message of Christ to places where He is not yet known.
Together, we can play a part in declaring God's glory among the nations.
Key Goals
- Plant Healthy Churches — Help catalyze the planting and strengthening of healthy local churches throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
- Mobilize God's People — Connect churches and believers with meaningful opportunities to pray, give, go, and participate in global missions.
- Expand Gospel Reach — Work alongside BMW missionaries and leaders to take the gospel among peoples where access is especially difficult.
Challenges
- Hard-to-Reach Regions — Many areas of the Asia-Pacific region present significant cultural, political, and spiritual barriers to gospel ministry.
- Building a Partnership Team — Developing the prayer and financial partnerships necessary to sustain and expand our ministry with BMW.
- An Enormous Mission Field — The need is far greater than any one missionary, church, or organization can meet. We need God to raise up more partners.
